You will receive short daily e-mail’s consisting of a key message and a simple exercise.  It will only require about five minutes of your time each day.

The retreat begins on Monday, June 11.  Your plan will be complete by June 30.  You will have several clear and compelling goals, plans to achieve them, and a daily system designed to keep you on the path to success.

In addition to the daily messages you will gain access to our complimentary workbook when you sign-up.  It contains summaries of the daily key points and a place to complete the assignments and plan.

Not sure?  Here’s a little more background in case you are lukewarm about participating. I sure would have been hesitant a few years ago.

Upon retiring from a long corporate career, I set out to find my true mission in life.  I knew there was something more for me to do.  But I had no idea what that something was.

One fateful day I was informed that everyone who makes it to heaven is considered a saint.  And that we are all meant to be saints.  News to me.  About a month later an outline for a book magically entered my mind.

The book idea was to help people build and live their personal plan to strive to become a saint.  I wondered, why me?  Who am I to write this book?  I’m certainly no expert on the topic or real life example.

But why not me?  I had been continually praying for guidance about what I should be doing.  Apparently this was my answer.

I’ve always known I was meant for something more.  No doubt you do too.  Now I knew what it was.  And I knew I had the knowledge and background to be able to make it happen.

Yet I continually stalled.  I was lukewarm.  Then one day I came across this bible passage:

“I know your works; I know that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot.  So, because you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”  (Revelation 3:15-16)

I finally got hot when I got mad at myself for sitting on the fence.  For kind of believing.  For kind of being a good person.  For sort of trying to be my best self.  For not utilizing my God given gifts and talents to their full potential.

So I finally wrote the book, “sAint Me?! – a practical guide to building and living your personal plan toward sainthood.”  Well, maybe the more accurate statement is that it got written.  I believe the words were divinely inspired. I have no other way to explain the ease with which they came.  My job was simply to get out of the way and write whatever came into my head.

Since getting hot I’ve also developed a website, started a blog, and given a number of group presentations.  And now I bring you this on-line retreat.  Amazing what can happen when we get out of our own way.  Just listen to the voice of God and do as you are told.  Keep it simple.

Are you still lukewarm about participating in the retreat?  Do you need to get mad at yourself in order to get hot?  Or are you mad at me for pestering you?

Are you the person you know you can and should be?  Why not?  Are you ready to become that person…your best possible self?  Come on, get out of your way and become divinely inspired!

Oh, did I mention it’s free?  Several have asked me why?  And then added…is that what it’s worth?  It’s nice to have comedian friends…sometimes:-)

Actually, my aim is to give you more value than any other program you have ever participated in.  Why?  Because I believe it is my God given mission.  To guide, motivate and inspire people to strive to become saints.  I started with myself and am sharing with you what is working for me.  We are all in this together.

Thankfully I had a successful corporate career that allows me to do this now without the worry of making a living.  It’s my way of giving back.  I want to make it to heaven and bring as many others with me as I can.

We can all be saints.  Seriously, if we were all determined to be our best selves, to serve others and to behave virtuously at all times, what a great world it would be.  No problem could survive.

Why shouldn’t this be our aim?  Why not make it our goal to become as saintly as possible here on earth?  Through God’s grace maybe we will even make it to heaven and gain eternal life.

But without a plan, we will fail.  As Benjamin Franklin aptly put it, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.”

This retreat is designed to guide you through a simple process to develop your own personalized action plan to strive for sainthood.  It also provides a scoring system to keep track of your daily progress.

Only you can decide whether becoming the person you were destined to be, improving the world around you and intentionally striving to gain eternal life are worth the effort.

Why not give it a try?  In about the same amount of time it would take to watch a movie you will have a plan to make the world a better place, and you a more fulfilled and happier person.

Take a moment to imagine a world full of saintly people.  Will you be one?  It’s your choice.  Free will.  Will you be a saint or an ain’t?

Come on, let’s solve all the world’s problems, one person at a time starting with ourselves.  Let’s be saintspirational!

I suppose I could add a bunch of testimonials here as a last resort in trying to convince you that the retreat will be a good use of your time.  How about just one that nicely sums up the comments of many.
